After a baby-related hiatus, I am back in the clinic on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s and can’t wait to practice again.
Yes, I’m back! It has been a whirlwind experience- any of you parents out there will know. Having gone through pregnancy (many of you last saw me waddling around the clinic), a wonderful home birth experience and then having this amazing little person come into my life, I am certainly a changed woman.
I have so much more empathy for all of my wonderful clients who are mums and dads, trying to juggle the care of their children with work and life, I really get it now! I also am so lucky to feel the love, closeness, and richness that comes with having a baby. This motivates me, even more, to help out those clients of mine who are working towards starting a family.
I am really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things, At this stage, I will be available on Wednesdays and Saturdays at Qi Medicine. There have been a few therapist changes too; I wanted to give a big thank you to Dr. Zahra (Registered Chinese medicine practitioner) who looked after you all so well during my maternity leave, I have had so much positive feedback from you all about her work. Zahra has decided to dedicate herself to full-time study of her Ph.D. and so will be taking a hiatus from clinical practice for now.
I now am so lucky have Dr. Tash (Registered Chinese medicine practitioner) working alongside me in the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can’t recommend Tash more highly; she has been working in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years, and really knows her stuff.
She is also a Reiki master and masseuse, and will often incorporate her amazing healing skills in an acupuncture session if you request it. Tash loves working with both men and women, has a special interest in helping couples through pregnancy, IVF, and fertility, plus enjoys working with people one-on-one who may be experiencing life difficulties and challenges.
Until I see you next, take care of yourself and look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
